Patrice ALLAIS is a teacher specialising in the Plastic Arts domain, who has, nevertheless, followed a personal artistic path, exhibited, sought for, confronted with reality and abstract and finally explored a difficult gap in painting: the practice of airbrushing, which undeniably distinguishes his works.
Patrice ALLAIS reveals thus a universe which is poetic and mysterious at the same time. Strange fruit having elegant movement, totally cut off from reality and anecdotes, but from which again and again surge forth with sensations, whose nature and elements are hardly miserly.
The challenge of this technique is to obtain unification of colour mass which is well suited to the personality of the artist, and one cannot dispute that this challenge is met and succeeds. Everything which appears to be improbable ends up with a dreamlike concept, gorged with shadow and light, evocations and waiting, which the colour masters with captivating fluidity, magnifying it with grace and invention.
